Investors: you pay the company. Not StateCF. Offerings are limited to Florida residents.

Education, not a raise

Florida Formation Weekend

Two consecutive days in a Florida city. You walk out with checklists, a path memo, a REAL folder, a bank letter, and a portal workspace started. Not a promise of checks. Not investor introductions. Capital Forge League hosts the room; any raise lives on a registered portal.

Who the weekend is for

Florida companies

Officers who want to raise from Florida neighbors under Chapter 517 and want the process, not a finder pitch.

Counsel and CFOs

People who have to live with the file after the weekend. One extra seat from the same company is how the room is meant to work.

Out-of-state visitors

You may sit in the room. Education may travel. A StateCF sale cannot. Sitting here does not make you an Invest Local issuer.

What you walk out with

Paper you can use. Not a certificate. Not a list of investors.

File 1

Checklists

What the company still owes itself: Sunbiz, officers, financials, and the portal file. You leave with a list, not a lecture.

File 2

Path memo

Which Florida path you are actually on: Invest Local, a limited offering, or something that does not fit this portal. Written so counsel can argue with it.

File 3

REAL folder

The working set OFR and a serious issuer keep: entity papers, officers, the offering facts. You start it in the room and finish it with your lawyer.

File 4

Bank letter

How money moves: investor to the Florida bank named in the paperwork to the company. StateCF never holds it. You leave with language a bank can read.

File 5

Portal workspace

A company account started so the public listing and presentation room are not a blank page on Monday.

The two days

Day one — the path

Entity, officers, exemption, what OFR expects, what this portal will and will not do. You leave knowing whether Invest Local is even the right door.

Day two — the file

How a public listing is written, how a presentation room is reviewed, how residency is confirmed, how payment actually moves. You leave with the folder started.

What this is not

  • We do not introduce investors or sell lead lists.
  • We do not take a commission on the class.
  • We do not file OFR for you.
  • We do not hold funds.
  • We do not certify residency.

The hour-by-hour outline and tuition go to your email after you join the interest list. Cities we are listening for: Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Jacksonville. A date goes on the calendar only when StateCF sets one. Confirm anything legal with counsel and flofr.gov.

Join the interest list

Free. Name, working email, phone and city, then a few questions so we can plan the room.

Have you raised capital before?

Education waitlist. Not a securities offering. Not a request for investors.

Still looking at the portal itself? How it works.
